Cadence is a 2 y/o AQHA Chocolate Palomino Filly.
She was purchased at auction (3rd auction she was run through in 6 months) and given to Angi. She was in serious need of foot care, had a nasty cut on her forehead, and was head shy. She has had her feet trimmed (farrier feels her feet are fine with no lasting problems from her rough start) and now is freindly and mellow. She stands up for herself in a herd, or rather refuses to budge from her feed and gets nipped a lot. She has been to clinic and enjoyed the obstacles especially the bridge. She learns quickly. Cadence has a good foundation of Hancock/Dry Doc bloodlines, she is levelheaded and responsive and would make a great 4H or FFA project horse.
Lilly is a beautiful 4 y/o mustang whose owners loved dearly. They sent her to a trainer that did not understand mustangs. The trainer called them after having Lilly a short time claiming she was untrainable. Fearing they could no longer handle her, they began looking for a good place for Lilly and found Angi. Lilly is actually a very smart, playful mare. If you go in with the girls it is Lilly that is following you around begging for attention! Lilly needs her own human to love, and to be handled using natural horsemanship methods.
Lilly will make a fantastic partner for someone. She would love to be someones special friend, in fact I could not find a great picture of Lilly alone because most of them end up like this....
Lilly is always looking for love!
