Angi hurt her hand just after she returned from Ft Worth. It got smashed between a tree and her horses head. When she went to the Drs they told her she had cracked one of her fingers. Her finger was really giving her grief and she couldn't do anything with that hand, so not only has she not been able to play with Freedom, she has not been able to work.
She went back in a couple of times and they gave her antibiotics but finally re Xrayed and discovered that her finger was displaced and the knuckle is fractured. They sent her down to USC for surgery. All agree it would have been difficult to fix initially and will be even more so now.
She goes in for surgery on the 7th that will hopefully repair it, but she will still be unable to work for a while and will have to work hard after it heals to regain movement in that finger.
Lifesavers Wild Horse Rescue has started a fund to help feed Angi's horses while she is laid up, and has generously started the fund with a $500 donation. Donations can be sent via PayPal to Kmmahan@yahoo.com and we will be setting up a P.O. box if you prefer to send regular mail.
