June 15th

Freedom has a huge break through and allows a halter to be put on his head with absolutely no problem. It all seems like no big deal to him. I do not attach a lead rope yet because I want him to feel absolutely comfortable about leaving my side or staying if he chooses. I take the halter off and get a bucket of soapy, sudsy shampoo. He thinks I am crazy as I follow him around with the wet towel. I am able to do his entire body but not his tail or his belly. He allows me to go 1/2 way down his legs on his right side and all the way down both front and back on his left side. I use a hose to wash all the soap off. I spray a little shining conditioner on him and brush his mane out. It is sad that Free has so little mane :( He looks like he let baby horses chew it off! I wipe him down with fly spray and realize that some day this horse is going to trust me enough to get on his back!
Saturday and Sunday are so busy that Freedom gets to rest.

Angi, Freedom will blossom with you. Yesterday was so funny. Kathy and Chaos walking towards her trailer. I love both of you like sisters. I didn't even get sad when he left, just had a huge smile on my face because he's coming to you!!! You are an amazing young lady, and a true inspiration in my life. Angi, you give these horses another chance, a real chance at having a life, and you tune into their magic, and their beauty and sensitivity. But you also give me alot of hope, too.

Love,

Sevasti

P.S. Maybe Chaos' REAL name will come to us soon.

Chaos was a good boy on the way over. Sevasti I think it is wonderful that you have allowed Satin and Chaos to just be themselves and learn what it's like to be loved without rushing them. I think Chaos will be happy to come back home and be your partner.
