Day two

I am thinking about a name for my big fat mustang but so far nothing has stuck. Today was good and he proved himself to be the most brilliant horse ever. I can't believe how quickly he learns and how hard he trys. He let me do more work with the saddle pad rubbing all over him, even his back legs. He is starting to accept it even flapping a little bit. I haltered him and started teaching him to lead a few steps. He is so curious about everything and puts it in his mouth. I pulled out a saddle and he chewed on it, lifted it up, and let me set it on his back. I did a little rope work in the round pen with my lariet around his girth and behind his back legs. No big deal. He is walking, trotting, and loping in the roundpen but is a little more nervous on his left eye. I didn't push him to much, just used today to introduce him to things and gain some more of this big boy's trust.
