Days 5- 7 Blustery Days

Thursday I only got a few minutes to play with Prosperity and it seemed like it was so windy that I didn't do much. I rubbed her face and did some flag work. She is not real bothered by the flag touching her body now.

Ahhh, but today was GREAT. I didn't work her yesterday so today I knew I needed to get some time in even if it was cold and windy. (Listen to this complaint :) we do live in California) She was

snorty but I ignored it. I worked her until I was able to halter her (which she was finally ready for) and then taught her to lead. The neat thing about using the rope around her neck first is that she had become light so when I haltered her she was very light and did not pull on me. I taught her how to yield her shoulders and hinds then how to drive forward with me directing her. Then we braided her mane!

Glad you got a nice mane on this gal, after getting short-changed in that department with Free! I am still watching you. Hope that your hand is much better.
