Freedom and the clinic (He does buck!!!)

Thursday we load up to go to Lifesavers with Freedom, Caydence, and Jewel. Free loads easily and he has had lots of practice. I expect that he knows that he is going to Lifesavers for another fun adventure :) Friday rolls around and I am running around like crazy. I don't even make it to Lifesavers until later in the day and it is frustrating. I want more time to play but I still need to work other horses also. Jim with Meg and I and Free take a walk around the ranch looking for obstacles to play with. We walk over logs and then go to the tie wall and practice tie the horses. Neither horse seems to have a real problem with the tying part other then one time when Meg has a little nervousness and Freedom reacts from it. They both do good and we put them away. Saturday morning comes around and I get to the ranch early. The obstacle course clinic has mainly people who come often to clinics and volunteer plus one other. I saddle Free and play over obstacles. We have a bridge, a HUGE ball, a gate with yellow caution tape to go through, and several other things to play with. He is neither bothered by the obstacles or people with other horses. I ride him in the arena a little at lunch time. After lunch I ride outside of the arena. He does good but gets a bit head tossing in play. When I lope him he does well at first and then decides to buck. Whew! Not too bad to stay on other then big and I am reminded that I do not want to fall from this height! We do not solve it today and he continues to buck each time we lope. I am slightly frustrated and I wish that we could get past this right now. I work on his walk and trot before I quit so that we have made some progress. I remember that tomorrow is a new day and we shall start again! Pictures to come soon.
